Text Box: About NCS Pet Photography - What is a Furtographer?
You know that special bonding people have with their pets? And how so often the four-legged members of our families are treated just like our children! Wouldn’t it be great if your furkids were also able to have their portrait taken so you could proudly display it your on wall right next to all your other family photos? At NCS Pet Photography, we have the best job in the world! We’re the ones who create those beautiful wall portraits of your furbabies! We are Furtographers, and photographing your furkids is our speciality!

Q: What makes you different than anyone else?
NCS Pet Photography offers custom quality photographic pet portraiture, specializing in studio pet portraits against whimsical and traditional backdrops with cute props. We are not a full service photography business. In fact, we pride ourselves at being a specialist at what we do and to us means focusing on just one type of photography – furtography!

Q: What would you say to someone starting out with their own business?
In my business, photography, having an understanding of your own value and worth and charging accordingly for your time is critical. Have a clear understanding of your costs, your visions and your mission and don’t work for free.

Q: Where do you see your business in 5-7 years?
I would really love to be working with charities and using my photography to make good within my community. It has been shown that professionally taken photographs of homeless pets helps increase their chance of finding their forever homes.

Q: What is the worst piece of business advice you’ve ever received?
Someone once told me that I was a horrible photographer. Of course I didn’t listen to them.
